For Stone Hill, I crafted a brand that feels both nostalgic and modern, blending the warmth of 35mm film aesthetics with playful, retro-inspired colors. The result is a visual identity that evokes a sense of familiarity while staying fresh and relevant in today’s cannabis space. Just like their mission to revolutionize cannabis in New Jersey, the branding balances heritage with innovation, creating a vibe that’s approachable, engaging, and built for the present, while nodding to the past.
Demonstrating its seamless integration into the fast pace of New York City, we brought Storz & Bickel’s newest vaporizing device, the Venty, on a field trip across the boroughs. We challenged its portable and easy-to-use design as three local influencers- Andrés, Allie, and Ritta- navigated the city by train, foot, and bike with the Venty by their side, visiting iconic locations like Washington Square Park, the High Line, McCarren Park, and a quintessential Brooklyn loft. As we followed each influencer’s unique narrative, we set out to establish the Venty as the perfect companion for busy urbanites, providing a convenient way to enjoy cannabis without disrupting their flow.
Nestled in Sunderland, Massachusetts, Altai Alternative Care is a dispensary inspired by the ancient origins of cannabis. Named after the Altai Mountains, where the plant was first discovered, the Altai logo was custom-designed to reflect the organic, flowing shapes found in nature. Its fluid lines and natural contours symbolize a deep connection to the earth, history, and the plant itself. Altai’s branding in all its facets is inspired by the natural world, reflecting the landscapes where cannabis first thrived.
Founded in 2014, Kushmart has been committed to providing high-quality products and personalized customer experiences across multiple states. For Kushmart’s branding, I drew inspiration from NYC bodegas. Think bright, playful colors, retro typography, and a neighborhood feel that makes shopping for cannabis as fun and approachable as grabbing your favorite snack from the corner store. Now open in Brooklyn, New York.
